How to Avoid Ending up With a Life That Lacks Value
Making decisions can be exhausting, especially when they're tough calls and we feel like we should say yes out of obligation.
When we make decisions based on what we think we should do, we end up laying a foundation for our life that isn't necessarily rooted in what we value the most.
Making decisions--easy or difficult--should always circle back to your values, to what means the absolute most to you in this life.
If you are clear about how a particular decision is or isn't in alignment with your top value(s), you will enable yourself to make decisions that feel solid and you won't have to spend countless hours second-guessing yourself.
On the other hand, if you let yourself make decisions based on what you think you should do or what other people could think, you'll start to loose your connection with your purpose and priorities and end up feeling isolated, spread too thin, and disengaged. Who wants that?
