Patience and Pause: April Energy Insight
April comes in strong with a sense of urgency and determination. We begin the month in a quick energy with a forward-moving momentum and a laser-sharp focus on our goals, tasks, and actions. With all of this comes a tendency to be rash and act without putting enough thought into what you’re doing, so proceed with caution. Focus on your energy being expansive versus explosive.
Be patient with people and try to take just one moment of pause before reacting. There’s a ton of movement this month, so make sure you’re constantly checking in and ensuring whatever it is you’re pushing ahead is in alignment with what you truly want. You’ll likely feel especially courageous during the first week or two of April, so if there’s something you’ve been avoiding but know you have to do, now is a great time to go for it!
After the first half of the month, we move into a space where energetically we might feel called to seek out some alone time. The middle of the month rests in a vibration of expression, emotion, and passion but all from an internal perspective. If you notice that you’re withdrawing more than usual, go with it because it’s needed right now.
Think about how you can give yourself some energetic space from the world to focus on your inner world. It would be especially helpful to find some art form with which you can express all of this emotion you’re swimming through. Anything from painting to doodling to playing music (and anything in between) will be extremely productive and helpful.
The end of April has this aloof quality to it and you may find yourself in your head more than usual. This energy is all about analytical thinking and mental stimulation. The plus side of this is that you’ll excel at making fair and unbiased decisions because you’ll be thinking from a place of emotional detachment. However, if you feel like you’re being too critical of yourself or others, turn this energy into something productive and pick up a book or a resource that challenges you to learn something new. Essentially, look for an intellectual outlet for all of that extra energy floating around (even something along the lines of crossword puzzles would be great!).
Theme: Patience, home life, feeling the need to control everything
Challenge: Connecting to that quiet inner place of self-intimacy--sometimes that silence can feel scary or intimidating. Get to know it, get comfortable with it.
Opportunity: Patience :). Think about where you should cut your losses and move on and where you need to keep at it. A great time to recognize and move away from stagnation!
